Clifford Cross Auctions Ltd are Fenland's leading Horticultural, Produce, Antique and General Auctioneers, established in 1946 by the late Clifford Cross. The Business was acquired by Richard Barnwell in 2001 who had worked in the Fens since 1977 with the old firm of Grounds and Company.
Our Auction Schedules have been completely altered by Brexit and the Covid Pandemic and our Sales are at present On Wednesdays for Trees and shrubs at 10am and Friday 10am for general sales. Photographic details of each lot in the General sale are posted on our Facebook site on Thursdays.
The Horticultural Sales and General Sales are now both Managed By Nick Grounds and we hope to soon be able to arrange an Antique sale which will be managed By Richard Barnwell.
Richard Barnwell is now available again to carry out Valuations for Probate and insurance purposes.
We offer a complete House Clearance service but appeal to Clients not to leave it to a few days before a Property Sale completion to instruct us as we are very busy and it is not always possible to do a job immediately.
We can also conduct specialist and on Site Auctions to suit the requirements of our Clients.
All our regular Auctions are Conducted from our Premises in Wisbech which has on site Parking.
